Waldo Canyon trail 2/23/2009

This was my first time running Waldo Canyon trail. It’s a beautiful trail even in the winter. The trail head is on highway 24 west of Manitou Springs about two miles. It’s a six point two mile loop and you can take it easy for the scenery or hit it hard for a good altitude work out. The trail head is at 7100’ with a summit of 8150’, 14% average grade and 2250’ total elevation gain.
